Nature of a large number of pyridine N-oxide-metal complexes 1) has been investigated in detailes, and pyridazine and its derivatives are also known to afford complexes with a variety of metal ions. ‘I However, no attention has been given to complex formation between pyridazine N-oxides(I) and metal ions. 3) It is interesting to examine the structures and properties of the complexes of I because I has two available coordination centers,i.e., nitrogen and oxygen atoms, having unshared electron pairs.
